The Retail Cost Of Solar Panels
I merely googled "Trina Solar". Here is the Google results page (from Sydney, Australia).
Note the 2d cite which gives retail prices. AUD1.40 per watt for monocrystalline, $1.30 per watt for polycyrstalline. High German modules.
The blended cost from the concluding Trina Solar conference telephone phone (presumably a wholesale cost which is lowe than a retail price) is $1.46 per watt. They told us that they had seen their prices stabilize.
Sorry. No dice. This gets worse. Much much worse.

Can't resist a follow up. Within 2 minutes of posting this the salesman who cold-called me trying to sell solar panels emailed a follow-up:
Trina Solar was burning good over 100 ane one one thousand thousand inward cash per quarter whilst expanding its output. Discounting pressure level is similar a shot increasing then it is going to teach worse. Survival is non assured.

Just a quick regime notation that the cost of alex panel has been dropped to $1.30p/w (minimun buy amount is 2 pallets).
